Top Five of the Many Things That Tick Me Off!

  1. People who never volunteer to do anything but have everything to say about how things are done.
  2. Motorcyclists with nonexistant mufflers who travel in packs and rev their motors while waiting next to you at the traffic light.
  3. Men over 60 who spend years dating a woman then decide their "just not that into her".
  4. People who move away, but leave their animals behind for other people to feel sorry for and feed.
  5. Salesmen who think that if you don't have male genitalia, you couldn't really be serious about purchasing a lawn mower.

I totally agree with your list. Instead of motorcycles around here we have huge pickup trucks gunning their motors and playing their stupid music loud enough for the Europeans to hear.

Your number 5 is soooooooo true. I can go in and they totally ignore me but let me take my daughter with me and they fall all over themselves waiting on us. (She is a beautiful blonde girl).

Nona, you are a joy, both as a writer and as a commentator. I had to laugh as I read this post because we share many of the same frustrations! I especially like #5. Many people do not take women seriously. Sometimes I have had to be a wench to be heard and understood. I don't like doing that but hey, my female genitalia demand it. Deal with it ya'all.

Thanks so much for the compliment. I appreciate it especially because of the high caliber of writing on your blog. On another note, I have always loved the word "wench"...it has such an earthy tone...or am I just romanticizing the word  because I turn into one myself now and then?
